This "Texas boy" was born and raised in Connecticut so he knows Saratoga well. At least he knew it a long time ago. As far as Maggie goes...sirloin is great, but not when you already have filet.

I need to add a prediction: My father-in-law (or stepfather in law, or something) will ask my advice about who to bet in one of the TC races or the BCC, or any or all of them. It varies from year to year. Depending on if I see him within a week or 2 of the races. The only thing that doesn't change, is he will ignore my advice. He'll tell me he's going to bet a certain favorite. If it's a generally bad idea (a la Uncle Mo in the BCC) I'll tell him so. Usually he still bets that horse. If he asks me for a horse, I'll give him who I like, and sometimes throw in a (or so-n-so might hit the board at a price, if you wanna play him across the board. He never listens to me. I gave that man Drosselmeyer in the Belmont, Orb in the Derby, and Keen Ice in the Travers. That last one, purely to hit the board. (ducks while GT throws something at her) He didn't put any money on any of them. Then why ask? Especially when you still bet, and you know I've given you good horses before. Why keep asking me? Ok, in all honesty, I was hoping he'd listen to me and maybe make a little money and throw me a $20 or something for the tip. *sigh* I hate being broke, lol.
