Hits it straight and putts the eyes out. See a few US Opens in the future.

One thing that impresses E is the knowledge the kid seems to have as you hear him talk with his caddie. The way he approaches each hole. He knows exactly what he wants to do and has the game to back it up. He has been tops at every level he's played so far. Another thing is the kid like excitement he shows in spurts. Like when he hits a bad one he covers his face in embarassment and has a look like " oh wow, how did I get into this and how will i get out'..Genuine love and excitement for the moment and respect for the game itself. Humble and well mannered he looks like he could indeed become the new face of golf.

It's just been brought to E's attention that some are claiming elsewhere that The Eliteone is bragging that he picked Speith to win the Masters. This is not true at all. E started this post because he was impressed with the young star and it was started weeks before the Masters. At no point did E pick him to win the Masters. At no point did E brag about it. What I may have said was he had the poise to probably wire the field with the big lead he had and he did do so. But E never picked him to win beforehand and only kept commenting here as to enjoy the comments and observations all were making. The fact is E picked no one beforehand but if asked he would have chosen Phil. Just wanted to clear that up.

How bout this kid, huh? This thread may go all year. He wins the Masters so does he take a week off? Nope. Goes again and shoots a 74 but then comes back today with a 9 under! Last I looked he was right there but either way he is really something. Someone to admire too. You have these thugs like Hernandez etc etc..btw Tiger took a backhanded swipe at the kid. Asked to compare his and the kid's Masters who both had the same score he said they kept the greens soft this time. Hmmm

How about the U.S. Open.  Normally, don't watch that much, but to see the pros play that course and seeing Rory have a 4 putt green, that kept my attention to see these guys struggle and complain.  Now I don't feel so bad when I 3 putt from 12 feet.

Way to go Jordan, a Texan.
