Callback, hip 163, shot quickly over $2 million

Callback, the grade I winning daughter of Street Sense  , shot quickly over the $2 million mark before settling on a final bid of $2.8 million paid by Elevage Bloodstock, a partnership between Glen Hill and Hill 'n' Dale Farm.

The 3-year-old filly's second dam is Supercharger, the dam of 2010 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Super Saver   and grade III winner Brethren  . Supercharger is also the sister to stakes winners Daydreaming, Girolamo  , and Accelerator.

Callback was sold by Spendthrift Farm, which bought her out of the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga select sale for $375,000. She won the Las Virgenes Stakes (gr. I) and placed in the Santa Ynez Stakes (gr. II) and the Eight Belles Stakes (gr. III).
